We will play!!
And, yes, I should be spending countless hours studying for Saturday's Praxis test, but--I have to be honest--I am so completely sick of studying. I'm hoping that I can read over the hundreds of pages of notes and just soak it all in by osmosis. Heck, it worked in college...the first and the second time anyway:)
Brandon is in the metropolis of Lincoln for what seems like the majority of the month, so Max and I are livin' large. Which mean, the kitchen is only a few hundred square feet of the house that Max uses as a race track and I make my morning coffee. I have to admit that it's a bit liberating! I have less than 24 hours to resume my domestic responsibilities, as the laundry room is on the verge of being condemned and I have no gym socks left for CrossFit in the morning. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted!
In the midst of everything, we have been producing a new video for work. It's given me a new appreciation for production companies that can sit through 13 hours of interviews in one sitting...this is NOT my calling in life at all! After writing the script, we had to have the conversation about who would do the voiceover. Well, we're in Brentwood...aka almost Nashville...otherwise known as the Deep South. So, I went on a hunt to find someone with broadcasting experience with that flat mid-western non-accent. A few quick searches later, and I realize that News Channel 5's morning anchor, Amy Watson, is an AOII alumna. And, she even managed to pound out three versions of voiceover for us in less than 20 minutes. Thirteen hours versus 20 minutes. Sound production I can manage:)
