1) It is crystal clear that my son's hair is completely and totally out of control. I would love to say that this great doo is due to some heavy playing or a great nap, but considering the time of day--I have to take responsibility for this one. Yep, I admit it--I did not brush my child's hair this morning. For some reason, it's just not quite as cute at lunchtime as it was when he was bee-bopping down the stairs this morning. Lesson learned.
2) I am one of those people who obviously borrow things without returning them. Thanks to one of my very best girlfriends, Max has a new-to-him pair of underwear that we snagged during a bit of an emergency at her house. They are Brayden's--and they are about two sizes too big. Courtney, I swear I will wash these and return them pronto!
3) In reference to my underwear observation, I can also attest to the fact that this is not the attire that I left him in this morning. He had on clothes (gasp) and underwear that actually fit. Which can only mean one thing: Max is now an equal-opportunity exhibitionist. So, I'm thankful that he loves his babysitter, Miss Sarah, enough to strip for her, but now I've just added another bullet point on my things to teach Max that he cannot do in public...it'll just have to follow teaching him that he can only pee in OUR backyard.
This is all proof that God has a sense of humor....I am slowly finding mine:)
