Slumber Party!!

We rang in the fourth with The Smith clan!! Beth and I have been best friends since the seventh grade...but the best part is that now our hubbies are great buddies and are children love each other, too! So, our slumber parties have come a long way since we used to read make three-way phone calls on Beth's very own phone line (that was way cool) to now keeping our eyes on the three different directions that our kiddos are all generally heading:) It's so sweet!

We grilled a great dinner, played until there was no sand left in the box, then threw the kiddos in the tub. The boys headed out for "man time", so all five of us got in our big bed surrounded by big pillows and watched Gnomeo and Juliet. One of the best nights ever!

Here they are zoning into the movie. Beth and I are such nerds that we kept comparing the movie to the real Shakespearean play... Apparently, you add a garden gnome to the mix and it's a kids' movie now:)

Max LOVES him some Catherine! And Catherine just loves to get Max all wired up--she's a Max chaser. I'm sure that will some day come full circle, too!

And here's a random picture of Max and my nephew, Chase, but I thought it was so sweet:) He is walking around now, but Max will forever refer to him as BABY Chase!!
