Whew--with all the work outside in the backyard, Brandon, Max and I took the weekend off to play! We headed out to pick up furniture on Saturday, and Max insisted on fried rice and shrimp. The kiddo LOVES Japanese food! Brandon and I discovered that no longer will Max suffice by eating part of my rice and a few of our shrimp, so Max officially got a meal of his own. We were all quite impressed by the copious amounts of fried rice that Max can inhale, in addition to eating all his shrimp and part of mine! With knack for chopsticks and his obsession with miso soup, Minami is one of our favorites!
We also made some time for the pool--here Max is taking a break (fruit snacks in hand). All that rice and splashing made for a great naptime:)
