Code Blue Thursday

Yep--that's right.  All things blue at the Dillard house yesterday!

First of all, let's start with our blue, ribbon preschooler for his GREAT day at school yesterday.  This has been Max's first full week at preschool and he is really loving his new school and teachers.  We miss Miss Sarah, but she's still hanging out with Max on Fridays, so he's getting the best of both worlds, and Mom and Dad are proud....and a little relieved.  Yay, blue ribbon!!

Then, it was off to the Titan's game for a Family Football Night!  Brayden and Scott drove downtown with us and joined us for a super healthy dinner at Logans beforehand,  (I paid for this dearly this morning at the gym, mind you) and the boys had a fun time dancing to the music.  Only in Nashville is there live music from an award-winning artist before a game....let's not count all of the sidewalk musicians on the walk over.

I was prepared for a night of concession stand trips and bathroom breaks, but we really only got out of our seats once for Dippin' Dots...the little man was a great sport, and had a fun time.  I could have done without watching the punt returner break his leg, but I guess it is football.  Poor guy.

And even though it's not blue, can I just mention that Brandon and are are celebrating our big 10 year anniversary today?  On one hand, it seems like forever--but, on the other, it seems like yesterday.  Super hot August day, scrambling to make a last-minute rain plan for the inevitable storm on its way, and saying "I do" in front of my childhood home to the best teammate, director, partner, and friend.  I love you, Brandon Dillard...and I'd do it all over again.  Lucky for me, that's an opportunity that I have everyday for the rest of my life:)
Happy Friday to all!!
