We LOVE the fourth of July! Good friends, good food, and fireworks! We jam packed alot into the big weekend...cookouts, family time, festivals...it was great!
I made homemade cupcakes for the barbeque we had with the Rodways and the Bakers. Max was little help in prep, other than the fact that he cleaned the icing from the beaters.
It was lots of fun, even though it was super hot. Max loved playing with Brayden and Kaylen, and he loved looking at Grady. Grady's still pretty small, but he'll be running with the bunch in no time!
We spent the next day at the park. It was soooo hot outside, but Max ran laps around the place. He was so worn out!! Marmie and Papa even came over to play on their way home from seeing baby Chase. It was so fun!
That night, we spent the night at the Nolensville fourth of July festival. We played, jumped, and ate lots of cotton candy--but Max's favorite part was running on the baseball field. Let's just say that I found red dirt everywhere in the bathtub! There were even people taking pictures of him on the pitcher's mound because he was having such a big time.
The fireworks were wonderful! We had a great, great holiday weekend!
