We had visitors this past week! I love company!! Who hoo!
Monday night, Mama Jane and the Wood Man came to visit. It was short, but we had a wonderful time, and the three of us always enjoy their company. They are such fun, and Brandon and I often say that we want to be able to enjoy a nomadic life just like them one day. Poor Woody had a tree cutting accident and came to visit with ten staples in his head--ouch! I hope that he found a hat, as I think he figured out that the sun was warm on his head!
Max was in full force for them...he showed them his dramatic laugh--over and over and over again. What can I say, he loves an audience! Brandon also brought out the sprinkler for Max to play in while they were here. Again, this kiddo has NO FEAR!
AND, Ginger was here--for TWO nights! Max really was in heaven!! He worships the ground that Whitney walks on, and they played and played and played for hours! Whitney was in town for a nursing project downtown. You might want to sit down for this one--she is graduating from college May 15th! Oh, how bizarre that my little sister is no longer little, but we are so very proud of her. She definitely is a smarty and will be a great nurse for sick people. We wish her luck on the job hunt!
She and Max played hide and seek for a bit. He is sooo entertained by her! I wish that you could hear that belly laughs through the picture...he thinks that Whitney is hilarious, and they have the best time together. I love just to sit back and watch!
This just happened to be a snapshot that I got of Max on the move, but it looks just like him. Always smiling if we're outside! What you can't see is that Whitney is running around behind me and he is trying to hide and scare her. Such a monkey!
And the sandbox! Oh the sandbox--how Max loves you so! I have learned to strip him naked before I will let him come inside after any play in the sandbox because it finds itself everywhere! But, I remember Adam and I spending much time in our backyard sandbox on Harlan Drive, and I wouldn't trade all that fun time for anything. It used to be one of the biggest highlights of the year when Dad would bring home fresh sand...how funny to look back on that, but it was wonderful! So, the sand drives me nuts, but it is great play for Max and great memories for Brandon and me!
This is such a sweet picture of my little guy. He is so much fun!!

So among all the other "wants" on my list right now, I am adding a good camera to this! I can definitely tell a difference in the pics. I have a Cannon Powershot and it is great for everyday but I would like a better one! Love the pics!
