Well, our first Easter Egg Hunt was...um, interesting. We had Jared, Matthew, Brayden, and Kaylen over for some hunting and treats. It was a great time with wonderful weather!!

But, we ate and played more than we hunted! Max was more interested in shaking the eggs to see what surprises were inside than putting them in his basket. But Brayden and Jared were definite pros!
The kiddos took wagon rides, played in the sandbox, and stuck close to the playground. Max even got to drink his first Capri Sun...he was sooo proud of himself...thought he was BIG stuff!
I got tickled watching Jared bang on a make shift drum. Max mimics just about everything that Jared does, so he joined in after a quick analysis of how it worked. And sweet Kaylen just looked on with a look like "and they find this fun because...?" Gotta love boys!
Needless to say, Courtney (my running buddy) and I had to run 12 miles later that afternoon. I was completely and totally pooped from all the trips through the backyard with boys in the wagon...Was not my finest or most enjoyable run to say the least!

Max has some awesome friends, and I am so thankful to have such great other mommies around!
