Recouperating!

In the two days that we've been home, we have tried to be pretty low-key. I have waded through the craziness to get a few last minute things, but we have enjoyed the quiet days as a family. We have watched lots of Christmas TV. I know, I'm terrible! On top of everything, we've got more teeth coming in (YAY for teeth, BOO for teething), so the little guy has not been in the best of moods. Let's hope we have more chompers to show Santa Thursday night:)
And, in our few days of isolation, Max has managed to learn to love a straw. I honestly have never thought about giving him one yet, but I am apparently behind in that respect. He is fascinated by it, but hasn't quite figured out that "turning it up" doesn't make it come out any faster. Baby steps, I guess!!

He is growing faster and faster everyday! His new thing this week is that he mimicks just about anything you say--it might not resemble what you said, but it is a definite attempt. I have learned that I now have to be VERY careful about what I say around Max:) We're now putting 'papa' and 'tractor' together, and my lovely husband taught Max to say 'Courtney.' I am less than pleased, and Brandon thinks it's hysterical. But, of course, he looks really cute saying it--ugh!
