We have had recent guests from across the river, Jamie, Brooke, and Ellie! We had a very, very exciting few days, and Max and Ellie got to spend some great playtime together. Brandon and I soooo enjoyed hearing about the world of Ellie...she has the funniest sayings that I have ever heard..."that scared the chicken out of me!" She is a riot!
In addition to visiting and doing a bit of shopping, we went to see Gaylord's ICE exhibit, A Charlie Brown Christmas. It was so neat--more ice than I could even imagine. And, it was COLD! No amount of Colorado skiing or Saturday morning running could have prepared me for the very, very blistery 6 degrees. (Hence the reason that you will see each of us sporting the very fashionable blue parkas!)
