Can you believe that it's mid-October and it's still so stinkin' hot outside? Funny how Max has three pumpkin/Halloween shirts--none of which we've gotten any wear out of yet. But, I will say that we have been soaking up every last minute of sun before it's gone!!
Here's a few quick pictures of our week:
We went to MTSU to the AOII Barbeque earlier this week. I would love to say that the barbeque was wonderful, but it was set up directly beside three huge inflatables...so, that is where the three of us stayed. Never have I ever seen Max remotely scared, but there was something about this slide that freaked him out. I think Brandon actually enjoyed sliding with him!

Max had a treat after school for having such good days lately--I took a very, very, very deep breath and let him fingerpaint. Ah, how this kid loves to put ooey-gooey-things-that-inevitablly-stain on his hands...But it really was fun! If you'll notice the small prints toward the bottom of the page--just know that those are dinosaur tracks. Actually, they are tracks from a stegosaurus:)
Here's a fun one of Max mid-hide-and-go-seek. Although he's not the best hider (or seeker for that matter), he loves it--and he counts so well (and loudly)! Max has also been a frequenter of the sandbox lately...I'm not sure how, but the amount of sand in my bed, in his bathroom floor, and in the kitchen could filter water for a week. The Dyson has been working overdrive, for sure!
