Happy, happy Spring!

Yes, it's been awhile, I know!

Things have been abuzz, and we've just been busy living life with a super active 2-year old:) I've been filling in at work for a co-worker on maternity leave, Brandon's been travelling alot, and Max is just as busy as ever!

It's so cliche, I know, but everyday is something new! I love to hear his new words and how he uses them. A few days ago, he came to be crying because he had hit it funny bone as we walked into the kitchen. "Mama, kiss it. My knee...hurt." Super sad, but I had to try really hard to choke back the snickers.

We've started our spring visits to the zoo already. Last week, we brought along Max's friends Jared and Matthew. They always have a big time. I was able to catch this sweet one of them playing hide-and-seek...by the way, they were SUPPOSED to be eating lunch. Needless to say, there was not much food ingested.

Then there's the great outdoors--of course, we're outside when the sun comes up, and I'm normally dragging him (literally) kicking and screaming inside at dark. Bubbles, waterhoses, our neighbor, Sam...Max loves it all!

I have learned that he doesn't do much of anything half-hearted. He plays big, he gets mad big, and he loves big. Quite the personality--although, I'm not quite certain where it came from:)
