Max's Lawrenceburg Party

I should be posting more pictures, I know, but it's just been insane. Getting ready to be off of work for a while is turning out to be a nightmare in and of itself.

But, Max had his second party at the grandparent's house on Sunday. It was quite the social event! The Harrell family made the the trip over from the other side of the river, Jane and Woody came in from the mountian, Adam and Cheryl drove in from Knoxville, and the Borums made a special trip as well. It was so much fun...I got to see people that I've loved a long time, but haven't had a chance to see in a while!

Max really got alot of neat stuff! There was everything practical you can imagine, along with anything that you could stick Max's name on. From diapers and wipes to special pool robes and rompers--there is no shortage of fun boy stuff at the Dillard house these days. Mom and Dad had a beautiful cradle made for Max and my aunt Jane rose to the occasion by giving me my dad's first pair of handmade booties. The Chandlers made Max an awesome baseball chair for his room, so the nursery is just about complete!

Thanks to the world's best friend, sister-in-law, and sister for a fantastic afternoon. Max will appreciate it soon, I'm sure! And I'm including a side-view picture for all of you that are relishing in the fact that I'm fat!!!

I didn't know you had a blog. I met you at the YMCA a while back. I attended school with Brandon and am good friends with the Bakers. I know you are excited about your new bundle of joy. Best wished to you and your family!
